Excuse Me?

"And how can a man at the extreme limits of ectomorphy and perebrotonia ever put himself in the place of one at the limits of endomorphy and viscerotonia, or, except within certain circumscribed areas, share the feelings of one who stands at the limits of mesomorphy and somatotonia?"

Intially, Huxley lost me. After looking up the foreign vocabulary, it became apparent Huxley was merely elaborating on the age-old phrase: How can you know what it's like to walk a mile in someone else's shoes?

Ectomorphy- having a thin body build
I was not able to find a definition for perebrotonia.
Endomorphy- having a heavy body build
Viscerotonia- a personality type characterized by an agreeable, happy, perspective
Mesomorphy- having a muscular or sturdy bold build
Somatotonia- a personality type characterized by assertiveness and energy

It's interesting to note the above word, somatotonia. I wonder if this was an inspiration for Brave New World's infamous "somas"...
